Friend of a Friend by David Burkus is an easy read. The subtitle – Understanding the Hidden Networks That Can Transform Your Life and Your Career – explains what the book is about.
And the note for the Introduction is very compelling. David Burkus says: “How I Learned to Stop Networking and Love Network Science. ”
That’s me too – I used to network out of necessity, and I can love to learn and apply the laws of network science.
The book is organized into 11 chapters – each describing a specific way of applying the laws of network science.
At the end of each Chapter, David provides instructions on how to convert science into practice, and also work online.
And he also has a web site with extensive additional resources.
He is a successful networker, so it is a site well worth exploring!
