Platform

“Small groups, loosely connected and united by a common cause.” – Greg Satell

These are the elements of the Minimum Viable Platform that we use. Think of this as a “Learning to Drive” experience – before you set out, you need to take the time to prepare, and here are the essential elements.

First, study and conduct a Gallup Engagement Survey and a Tribal Leadership Survey.

These are the assessments you will be using to measure the Social Engagement of your community.

Next learn the eight essential elements of the platform. They are listed here and explained in detail in the linked files:

  1. Loosely connected – a Slack Account or similar, Zoom access
  2. Preferred Quadrants for Making Decisions + Debrief
  3. Meeting Coherence Quadrant Checkout
  4. Meeting Procedure: Participative Decision Making
  5. Keystone Cause – Our Purpose
  6. Core Team – start with 3 people then expand to 6 – your community of the adept
  7. Triads – instead of individual leadership we work in 3s – collaborative leadership skills
  8. Values -our boundaries – what we will and will not do

Once you have finished your driving lessons you are ready to go out on the road and have a lived experience of what it is like to be in the field of a Social Tensegrity Structure.
